Omega made eleven Summer Blue watches for the Seamaster's 75th anniversary, and they are not all the same blue. The dials get darker as the depth rating goes up — more precisely, the pale area at the centre of the dial shrinks the deeper the watch is rated. The Ultra Deep, good for 6,000 metres, is almost black.
Yours is rated to 150 metres. That makes your dial the lightest blue in the entire family, with the biggest pale centre of any of them.
It is not a styling choice, it is a depth rating rendered as colour — and it tells you exactly what this watch wants on its wrist.
The fit: 20mm, and two dropdowns to get right
Your Aqua Terra is the 41mm case, so the lug width is 20mm. Not 19mm — that is the 38. Not 21mm — that is the 43mm Worldtimer.
On the Aqua Terra strap pages, two dropdowns matter:
Lug Width — select 20mm. It opens on 18mm, which fits no mainstream Aqua Terra at all. Click through without checking and you will receive a strap that cannot physically go on your watch.
Buckle Colour — select Silver if your watch came on the bracelet. It defaults to "No Buckle", which is right only for someone reusing an Omega deployant they already own.
Straps are cut 105mm + 105mm — the symmetrical, deployant-friendly layout — and spring bars are included. The Omega strap installation tool makes the swap quick.
One honest note on the look. Omega sells this same watch as reference 220.12.41.21.03.008, fitted to a blue rubber strap that is integrated into the case with a solid polished steel link. Ours mount conventionally on the 20mm lugs rather than through an integrating link, so the join reads differently. What that tells you is more useful than the difference itself: rubber is a factory configuration for this exact reference, not an aftermarket idea.
What you own
A 41mm symmetrical case in polished and brushed steel, 13.2mm thick and 47.9mm long, water resistant to 150 metres.
The dial is the gradient Summer Blue with Omega's teak pattern — the horizontal grooves taken from yacht decking — with a date window at 6, faceted applied indexes and faceted hands. Both are filled with Summer Blue coloured luminous material rather than the usual white, so the colour code holds even in the dark.
Inside is the Master Chronometer calibre 8900 with twin barrels in series, 39 jewels, around 60 hours and METAS certification. The caseback carries the anniversary Seamaster logo: a trident-bearing Poseidon between two seahorses, Omega's 1956 original and the current design.
Why this one in particular wants rubber
Three reasons stack up here more than on most Aqua Terras.
It is the shallow-water watch of the family, and it looks it. A pale gradient teak dial is a summer object. A steel bracelet is a year-round one. The two do not disagree exactly, but the bracelet is the more conservative half of the watch.
Omega already put it on rubber. The blue-strap version is not a special edition or an afterthought — it is one of the two ways this reference is sold.
And 13.2mm is a slightly chunky watch for 41mm. Reviewers who have handled the Aqua Terra 150M make the same point repeatedly: it wears noticeably better on a strap than on the bracelet, because the weight comes off the far side of the wrist and the case sits flatter.
Four that work, arranged by depth
Since the whole capsule is organised by how deep the blue goes, it makes sense to choose the same way. These run from the shallow end to the deep end, and then off the scale entirely.
1. Light blue — match your place in the family
The right answer, and it is not merely a summer option here. You own the palest dial Omega made in this collection, filled with light blue lume, precisely because it is the least deeply rated. A light blue strap is the only one that agrees with that.

2. Full blue — the colour Omega chose
The factory answer. Omega's own rubber version of this reference wears solid blue, and a deeper blue does something the pale strap cannot: it makes the light centre of the dial look lighter still, by contrast.

3. Blue with a white line — the nautical read
The teak pattern on your dial comes from boat decks, and this is the strap that says so. Blue does the work, and the fine white line picks up the faceted applied indexes and the printed minute track — the only elements on the dial that are not blue.

4. Full black — step off the scale
The neutral, and it does something the three blues cannot: it removes every other blue from the picture, so the dial's own gradient becomes the only colour on the wrist and reads at its most intense.
